installing the maverik version of bcmwl-kernel-source, adding "blacklist b43" to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf reboot, and fn-f2 does the trick for me (finally). I don“t have to key fn-f2 on every boot, it works fine; just like before natty.
