Hello,

I have been having this problem and have tried various solutions. The
common solution I have tried that seems to be working for everyone else
is:

sudo service network-manager stop
sudo rm /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state

[here is where it trips up] It reports that there is no such file or
directory. Therefore I assume I already removed it, but I still have a
network that is disabled.

Any thoughts?
