Public bug reported:
I regularly hibernated my laptop under Lucid without this issue, but I
installed Natty I quickly found that I couldn't successfully hibernate.
I installed the "hibernate" package in case that helped, but didn't. It
appears to hibernate ok (says it's taking a snapshot) then shuts down,
but when I turn it back on again it resumes as if it had been shutdown
normally - no error messages or flickering etc, just loads up the login
screen and carries on as if nothing unusual has happened.
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
