Hi,
I agree, it's also a pain on a laptop as it's not easy to find a way to
actually do a middle click with many touchpads. However making a left
click open a new window would be a big change to the whole Unity design.
The only alternative is for closing the Nautilus window to close and end
the copy as well, which might be annoying.
This needs input from the design team, so marking it as such.
