Maybe this bug could be related to #588223. In fact, I began to perform
some probes when I tried to encode an AVI file with both Spanish an
English language in AC3. I got the same error described in #588223. So I
began wondering why AVI file was empty. Then, I create a simple AVI file
with MP3 Spanish language (160 kbps.) from The Social Network and worked
OK. Then, I tried to create an AVI file with AC3 sound from the
Predators vob files I have not deleted yet (I successfully encoded a
Predators AVI file with MP3 sound two days ago). So I ran dvdrip, chose
the Predators rip file and changed sound options from MP3 to AC3. The
creation of this AVI failed producing an empty AVI file (only the
header). In order to confirm the bug, I tried to create the AVI file fom
the Social Network using AC3 with Spanish language and failed the same
way. So IMHO the bus is related to create AVI files with AC3 sound, not
for choosing to integrate two different languages in the same AVI. I'm
just trying to create an AVI file form Social Network using both
languages (Spanish and English) but with MP3 encoding in order to
confirm the bug. I'll be back with the details :-)
