To reproduce the problem:
Begin with the PDF form attached to this bug.  This is the same file attached 
to bug 800921.  This PDF is "standard" and can be read by:

    Adobe Reader 10.1.0 (running under Windows XP)
    Foxit Reader 5.0.1.0523 (running under Windows XP)

Fill in any non-empty amount of data in .  Save the PDF to a Ubuntu file
system (ext4)--not a Windows NFTS file system (fuseblk) [see bug
800921].

The following programs can NOT read the PDF file written by Evince:
    Adobe Reader 10.1.0 (running under Windows XP)
    Foxit Reader 5.0.1.0523 (running under Windows XP)
    pdftk 1.44 (running under Ubuntu Studio 11.04) -- But it can't read the 
original PDF either

The following programs can read the PDF file written by Evince:
    Evince 2.32.0
    flpsed 0.5.2
    PDFedit 0.4.5-201011031334158
