Latest update to Ubuntu 10.10 (linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic) installed
today (2011-06-27) won't boot. Every boot presents the kernel selection
screen. 2.6.35-30 and 2.6.35-30 recovery mode both fail.

workaround is to boot to 2.6.35-28-generic and remove the following:

linux-headers-2.6.35-30
linux-headers-2.6.35-30-generic
linux-headers-generic
linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic

Removed the following packages:
linux-generic
linux-image-generic

How did this kernel get released with a confirmed bug?
