I can confirm that the indicators do no longer shift on my Acer Travelmate 6292 ( Intel Graphics ).
Still I'm not completely happy, as one issue remains: When I connect the external Monitor the Top Panel has a nasty Background, the lower 1/4 of the Panel has the wrong color (see image attached) When I call "unity --replace" the panel looks OK.
