@Jameel: I can confirm it. The window shows up and then disappear rapidly. 
Running form command line 
indicator-datetime-preferences do nothing, running it with sudo gives the 
error: 

** (indicator-datetime-preferences:25675): WARNING **: Could not connect
to geoname lookup server: Operation not supported

(maybe unrelated).

By adding the date/time using dconf-editor (for example, changing
"locations" to  ['America/New_York New York', 'UTC'] do work.

BTW, I really loved the world clock we had before unity with the day-
night terminator. Is it possible to have it back? Thanks!
