Well I still get occasional freezes with the wired mouse and KB (See my
post #21 above), I always suspected the freezes came more often when
Firefox was open, but it was hard to pin point as I always have Firefox
open. A few days ago I decided to give Chromium (Actually the Iron
version of Chromium) a nother try and the freezes are almost
reproducible as they come within a few minuets of using this WebKit
based browser.

The freeze IS reproducible when plugging in my USB Ipod clone player.
The mouse pointer will freeze every time I plug in this device. So I
believe this freeze is related to The Nvidia 8200-8300 Chipset and the
Linux kernel, as it will not happen on this MB under windows 7 or when I
was using 10.04 with the RT kernel (I should have stayed with 10.04 and
the RT kernel in retrospect as I now have to use my laptop or boot to
windows to load or charge my MP3 player).

If any diagnostic info is needed now that I can reproduce the freeze, let me
know and I'll try to help any way I can.
Thanks,
John
