Public bug reported:
The initscript exposes status and check commands which attempt to call matching
named functions in the script. However there are two definitions of a status
function and hence /etc/init.d/nagios3 status actually runs a check on the
config files and /etc/init.d/nagios3 check simply throws an error.
I believe the second of the two status functions should be named check
