I've got the same problem : when I close the laptop it stops fine and when I open it up a moment later, more than one time over two, the network (WiFi) is deactivated. When I do a sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart, messages tells me the device is currently busy etc.
I have to close / open / close / open until the network is up by itself. I uninstalled network-manager and now, I don't have this kind of problem after closing the laptop. -- gnome-power-manager problems after installing NetworkManager https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/48526 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
