from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please
feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could,
please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this
confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.

Title:
xdg-user-dirs-gtk-update crashed with SIGSEGV in XInternAtom()
Concurrent crashes in Metacity,nm-applet, user folders update. The
immediate effect was X server restarting, back to the login screen.
This happens sometimes 5 times in a row. Twice during these incidents
X shuts down, goes to Console Login, after 10 seconds X restarts.
