I'd also appreciate an option to change the default umask.

KDE 4.6 uses udisks to (auto)mount external storage devices and if I
want to share a directory on such device using samba, the directory is
inaccessible from the rest of my network because the default umask is
077. I need to run manually:

udisks --mount /dev/sdb1 --mount-options umask=022

everytime I plug in my external hard drive and it's really annoying.
