I presume the above alsa-info dump (alsa-info.txt.npy1VJi0HV) still
exhibits loud white noise? If so, please reboot into Windows then into
Ubuntu and run the alsa-info dump again. We'll need both states to
examine what may have changed - if in fact it is resolvable by the Linux
sound driver.
Please ensure that you do not alter any sound settings between both
runs. If necessary, create a new "before rebooting into Windows" run.
