Public bug reported:

Every time I install or uninstall some package in the end it gives an
error saying installation (or removal of packages) failed. Fortunately,
the package does get installed. Also, in between while installing, a
window titled debconf (or debconfig perhaps) opens and closes many times
(I can never see the contents in the window as it closes very fast, all
I can see is the title 'debconf').
