I have finally figured out that classic unity is working only with 173 nvidia
drivers. But there is no obvious way to choose classic unity instead of
unity-2d. Unity 2d is always loading and only way to load classic version is to
run:
unity --reset
Unity should automatically choose classic ver. or there should be a way to
switch between them.
I can't remove unity-2d (ubuntu session won't login), and unity-2d-launcher is
still running with classic unity. This can be seen when windows are maximized.
Graphic card is nvidia 7300 go.
