"There's nothing in the log around the time of the freeze (I'd have been surprised anyway)."
To be more precise, the last log entry before the freeze was a good five minutes earlier. I wouldn't hold my breath for more information on this, unfortunately. I've attached kern.log.1 - ca. 10:09 on July 2nd is when I reboot after the first of the above mentioned freezes. My machine reboots within seconds, quite literally - so when the kernel log starts at 10:09, you can see that last log entry before the freeze was a good 6-7 minutes earlier, long before the freeze. ** Attachment added: "kern.log.1" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/804680/+attachment/2189425/+files/kern.log.1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/804680 Title: [4276CTO, Conexant CX20590, Black Headphone Out, Right] Playback loops; computer crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/804680/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
