I read an easy fix for this, which worked for me. In my case, the error was caused because of some chromium-related processes were stuck in the background. So:
1. Launch: "System / Administration / System monitor" 2. Switch to "Processes" tab 3. Kill every process which has "chromium" in it's name 4.
