Public bug reported:
Having just upgraded to Oneiric I decided to try and setup backup using
Deja Dup. The most effective option for me was Ubuntu One so I have
selected it as the Backup Location. Encrypt backup files is ON
However when trying to do the backup Deja Dup goes:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/duplicity", line 1323, in <module>
with_tempdir(main)
File "/usr/bin/duplicity", line 1316, in with_tempdir
fn()
File "/usr/bin/duplicity", line 1168, in main
action = commandline.ProcessCommandLine(sys.argv[1:])
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/duplicity/commandline.py", line 930,
in ProcessCommandLine
globals.backend = backend.get_backend(args[0])
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/duplicity/backend.py", line 155, in
get_backend
return _backends[pu.scheme](pu)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/duplicity/backends/u1backend.py", line
72, in __init__
import ubuntuone.couch.auth as auth
ImportError: No module named couch.auth
I have installed desktop-couchdb in Ubuntu One client (though Deja Dup
should be installing whichever packages are required for backup to
Ubuntu One to work)
