gwget has several huge problems in Ubuntu, this one is really bad:

I got no indicator in the notification area (top right next to clock).
This is not really a problem, but accidentally closing gwget pressing
its window's X button just closes this window and does not stop gwget at
all. If I had an icon in the notification area, that would be ok - but
now I got nothing. Starting more downloads is all done blind, no chance
to get a window again!
