debian-installer failed to build because the nic-modules udeb was empty: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/20101020ubuntu41 vexpress' networking is probably enabled, but at the very least USB NICs should be enabled as modules in the kernel config. I'll relax the debian-installer module dep to allow this udeb to be missing, but it seems we should nevertheless enable USB NICs in the config.
