Public bug reported:

TestDisk 6.11 Release :
"This new TestDisk version can undelete files for NTFS filesystem and recover 
deleted exFAT and ext4."

However, Software Center does mention only ext2 and ext3, no ext4.
According to Software Center, the available version is the same, namely
