I do see the same behaviour on my Computer. It has an Intel 4300 Graphics card.
But I don't think this is a duplicate of bug # 780923, as there the screen
shows partially the applications.
Here, or at least on my screen, it is completely black, with backlight on, and
I can see the mouse pointer and move it around on the screen, as if it was
normaly working. But I can not see any window at all or interact with them.
Switching to Console is possible(Ctrl+Alt+F1,F2,..) and back.
Everytime I switch to the X-Server, an other line is written to the kernel.log,
looking like this:
Jul 5 21:55:39 nepotech kernel: [15774.021913] [drm:drm_mode_getfb]
*ERROR* invalid framebuffer id
This bug is definately critical, as the X-Server doesn't work any more,
and so all the normal programms used for everyday work have to be
killed.
