yes tried escaping... it did not work. I am using Ubuntu 11.04. STEPS to reproduce. 1) Create folder "My Scenes" with images for wallpaper. 2) Create background-3.xml as attached for wallpaper slideshow 3) Right click on desktop -> Change Desktop background -> click Add and select xml file.
