Touchpad just starting working yesterday evening. (Should be around 3-4 pm in EST) There is no coherent explanation as to why, except that my girlfriend touched it and all of a sudden it was working again...
Maybe it was a matter of reboot after kernel started to recognize it. I think I also did a standard update to Natty Narwhal at some point, so it might be a combination of all of these.
