Indeed, it will take some time before the menu gets updated to show the
VPN was disconnected. Other events triggered (like wireless scan
results, other disconnections, etc.) will usually trigger a menu update.
This has been fixed in Oneiric in the last upload of nm-applet, so I'll
close this as Fix Released.
