Public bug reported:
The default version of the DejaVu fonts included in Ubuntu 6.06.x
renders quite ugly most of the cyrillyc and greek characters (especially
the bold variants are affected). When replacing the all *.ttf files with
the newer version of the font (currently 2.9) the appearance of the
mentioned glyphs becomes much more pleasing.
