thanks for reporting this. This is actually a known issue that is filed
as bug 107188.
Paul, most people are finding that you should be able to reboot just
fine and the system will be operational. It seems to be the case that
the system installs correctly and just fails in the final clean up
stages which you can do manually. Check the thread for bug 107188 for
more details.
