I originally reported this as a bug for the simple reason that it is a changed behavior from previous version.
I have worked rather long in the IT industry and from my experience the worst thing a software developer can do is changing user interface behavior between releases, especially when it concerns shortcuts and keystrokes in general. What a user prefers in general is besides the point, even though I do not believe that anyone can say what users want or prefers - look at Microsofts usability lab - they change Words menues around for every release claiming that the usability lab experience indicates that the new look is better........... -- Backspace key not ignored rather than displaying previous url in Firefox 2.0.0.3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99684 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
