This package should probably be removed, as outlined in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=552183:
* fails to build from source (missing dependency on libglade2, but when that's fixed, the GNOME applet seems to be missing the CFLAGS for libgnomeui) * last upstream release was in 2005 * uses some deprecated GNOME libraries (e.g. libgnomeui) * alternatives include genius, qalulate, extcalc, galculator, Python, ... Since we take this package verbatim from Debian, I think there is no further action required, should Debian decide to remove the package. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #536957 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=536957 ** Also affects: rcalc (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=536957 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #552183 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=552183 ** Changed in: rcalc (Ubuntu Oneiric) Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/756038 Title: rcalc version 0.5.0-1.3 failed to build on i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rcalc/+bug/756038/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
