I did this already (for backports, since this is an upgrade and not a fix):

But..

I guess if YOU don't think the backport is necessary, the chances of my
proposal going to happen are close to zero :P

Yes, I've done that.. and it works great! Thanks!

My main reason for upgrading was for BottleSpec compatibility (so it
would recognize automatically bottles i've manually created in
~/.local/share/wineprefixes). But it didn', not even using the "Import"
function. And it didn't import Winetricks names from "wrapper.cfg".
Also, creating new bottles didn't even suggest that path (so I could
just input the name and qt4wine would handle the path.

Are you guys interested in volunteers for development? I would gladly
help improving q4wine. So far it is THE best wine frontend, so it's
better helping it than to reinvent the wheel myself.
