Public bug reported:

My touchpad on my Samsung RV511 is working in that it works as a pointer
but advanced Touchpad features like scrolling do not work. I do not have
a 'touchpad' tab in my System>Preferences>Mouse dialog. Having
researched, I believe the problem is that the kernel does not correctly
identify the touchpad.
