Public bug reported:
I tried to install grub on a RAID0 Configured 4 HD Volumeset on a HP
DL360 G4P Server. The RAID controller is a Compaq SmartArray P600 SAS.
The installation itself doesn't throw any error message, so it looks
like, that everything is ok. Installation location is /dev/cciss/c0d0.
After rebooting the server grub is giving me the "GRUB Hard Disk Error"
message, which means, that the BIOS is giving grub the wrong disk
geometry.
Strange thing is, that with an old version of grub from SLES9 (without
any cciss patches) (grub-0.94), booting via grub is possible and works
just fine.
I can't test edgy, because we are just using stable distributions and no
development versions.
