Thanks for the bug report greg. Do you know what version of unity-2d you are
running? dpkg -l unity-2d will give you the answer. Can you also paste the
output of:
gconftool --get /desktop/unity-2d/launcher/hide_mode
gconftool --get /desktop/unity-2d/launcher/use_strut
The first one should be 2 and the second should be false.
