Thanks, Max.  The libvirt version you have installed is not an official
one.  It appears to have come from

https://launchpad.net/~dnjl/+archive/build

Did you intend to use that version?  If not, you can remove that ppa or,
if you need the ppa for other packages, you can pin libvirt to a
supported version.

If you did intend to use that version, then you might ask the ppa author
about the bug.  To debug it, you'll want to run libvirtd by hand to look
at debugging information, and look at /var/log/libvirt/*.

My guess would be that this version of libvirt is failing to start
because of too old a kernel.  A backported kernel may fix it for you.

I'm marking this invalid as the package is not supported.
