In the DpkgTerminalLog, I see:

valid_hostname: invalid character 40(decimal): (none)
postfix: fatal: unable to use my own hostname
What do you see when you do each of the following?
cat /etc/mailname
cat /etc/hostname
hostname
hostname --fqdn
** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
