Got a little carried away with the cats there didn't you :P Ok, this is a fresh install of Ubuntu 7.04 on the laptop. I've been through Gentoo and Debian on it too so that should give you some idea of how long I've been fighting it (and how many different configurations I've tried in that time too). Oh, another example of its slowness is the Ubuntu login screen. You actually get to watch it draw the tiles for the background and it takes a second or so to actually render the entire backdrop (the brown thing).
Anyway, here are the files. If you spot anything obvious I wouldn't get your hopes up as I said I've tried lots of different things already and this is a bog standard new install now. Thanks for looking and hope something is spotted. ** Attachment added: "Requested Outputs" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7417840/CipherLogs.tar.gz -- Very poor 2D performance with "radeon" XOrg driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
