Public bug reported:
After upgrade kernel to linux-image-2.6.32-33-generic (from linux-
image-2.6.32-32-generic) Fn+F9 shortcut stopped working (it's
responsible for disable/enable keyboard). Also touchpad changed its
behaviour - in olto dotyczyder kernel two-finger tap opened links in new
tab in web browser, etc. and three-finger tap worked like right mouse
click, but after upgrade touchpad actions are reversed (three-finger tap
opens links in new tab and two-finger tap works like right mouse click).
When boot system with linux-image-2.6.32-32-generic, everything works
fine.
This problem affects my laptop ASUS UL30A with Ubuntu Lucid. I have also entry
in /etc/default/grub:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_osi=linux"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_osi=linux"
which improves regulating backlight using keyboard shortcuts.
