I installed the liveCD image on a usb drive that had some files. It looks like the "cd-rom" WAS THE usb drive, and it had this absolute path /cdrom/<myfiles+imageFiles>. I don't know why but it was trying to access my files/folders then after hitting a leaf (talking about file structure) it outputed something like "the file doesn't exist or could not be read" in the terminal. I can't recall it exactly.
ANYWAY, i erased the drive completely , reinstalled the image on my drive and all went well after that.
