Public bug reported:

I have the latest Ubuntu 7.04 with all the updates running on Asus G1 laptop.

Here is my problem:

Initialy wired network works fine when I turn on the laptop and the
cable is plugged in. Wireless also works fine. However when I switch
from wired to wireless network via tray icon of network manager, I
cannot go back to wired network anymore, it is just grayed out.

If I just disable wireless network, it still does not connect back to
wired. If I choose to disable and re enable the network it still can
only work with wireless, wired does not work.

The laptop has IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
