Public bug reported:

Totem consistently crashes or stops responding once the playlist is
finished.

I started totem with just one mp3 as an argument from the terminal and
this is what the terminal says:

(totem:2285): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: _gst_util_uint64_scale_int: assertion 
`denom > 0' failed
Killed

Is it a 64 bit issue??
