Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Can you tell us the version of OpenOffice you are experiencing the problem with? Also, could you run OpenOffice Writer using Konsole? To do that: Use the <Alt>+<F2> shortcut to get a Run Command Dialog. Execute the command: "konsole". Then a terminal will open. Execute the command "oowriter2 > log_oo.txt". When the OpenOffice Writer loads completely (and the error gets reproduced), you can close it. After that, simply, attach the file log_oo.txt which was created, in this bug report. Thanks again!
