I have no internet at home, rely on wireless at public spots to connect. I cannot hold a connection to the wireless with any 3.0 kernel long enough to send anything.
Also, I do not have apport installed in any of my machines because the packages harvested from the laptop are used to install the same system in the offline AMD 4-core, from which automated bug reports cannot be sent. The nature of alphas is that a lot of things crash, and I got sick of constant crash reports that I was unable to do anything with from dozens of programs. If nobody else is able to investigate this and this bug persists to release, I will either have to use old kernels or external wireless in the laptop-as will anyone else with the Acer Aspire one with Intel Atom N450. Sorry about this, but I just don't have the resources to send automated reports on this bug. Is there a manual way to do this using strace or something? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799290 Title: wireless repeatedly connects and disconnects with kernel 3.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/799290/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
