Brad: the original report had 25 affected users and had all the upstream bugs
linked to it. Now that I opened a new bug for the same problem I'm the only one
that's affected. (This is a bug in launchapd, bug #343110)
My question is: was it really necessary to close the original bug? Is the new
bug more helpful to the developers? Is it more likely that they will notice
that this bug exists?
I agree that this is a good way to close abandoned bug reports, but in this
case I was testing every new release of Ubuntu and I was updating the report
every time!
