This makes no sense to me. The stack trace shows that VLC called the crashing pa_channel_map_to_pretty_name() with a correctly initialized parameter. map.channels = 2, and the first two channel values are LEFT and RIGHT. pa_channel_map_to_pretty_name() should return "Stereo" then. Looking at the libpulse source code, I don't see how the function can possibly crash at line 751.
With no further clues from the bug description, I'm afraid there is not much to do here... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811482 Title: vlc crashed with SIGSEGV in pa_channel_map_to_pretty_name() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vlc/+bug/811482/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
