Public bug reported:

With previous versions of Ubuntu I never had problems with sound at all.
Since I installed (fresh installation) Feisty Fawn I have no sound at
all. The hardware seems to be detected and yet I do not hear anything. I
have a Soundblaster audigy sound card. My motherboard also has a builtin
soundcard which is disabled in the BIOS.

I am pretty much a Linux n00b so if there is any other information I
need to add, please let me know (and let me know how :-) )

Thanks!
