Public bug reported:

I suspected this might be a kwin bug, and maybe it is, but my Eterm is
borderless if I run it from a 32bit chroot.  I thought for a moment that
this was a fine workaround, but of course that means my whole shell is
running in the chroot, which isn't what I want.
