Hello Paulo,

Thanks for sending this updated report!

Now, if I understand correctly:

1- Your card didn't work with the 2.6.38-10 kernel.
2- You followed the instructions you linked to, which have you compiling a
driver from source code.
3- You upgraded to the 2.6.38-11 kernel.
4- Now your network card doesn't work.

If this sequence of events is correct, the missing part is that when you
compile a driver from source code, it's kernel version-specific, this
means that if you upgraded to a different kernel (even just the
difference between 2.6.38-10 and 2.6.38-11), you need to recompile the
driver from source, basically redoing steps 4, 5, 6 and 8 (7 is not
necessary as blacklisting drivers does carry over from one kernel
version to the next, this is also why you probably don't have the r8169
driver anymore, as in step 2 of the post's instructions to verify the
r8169 driver).

Could you tell me whether I understood correctly, and if so, whether
trying to recompile the driver makes it work again?

Thanks!
