Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager-pptp

I let Network-manager manage my interfaces. I have setup the VPN
connections to my MS VPN server at work properly (Refuse EAP and Require
128-bit MPPE encryption are checked)

When I go into the network-manager applet and request it to connect to the VPN
server at work, it does this without hesitating.
However when I start the Terminal Server Client and let it connect to the
server, nothing happens and the client times out after a while.

When going into a terminal and when I ping to my server I get "ping: sendmsg:
Operation not permitted"
Also trying to browse the network at work through SAMBA, I cannot view the
shares of the server. I don't even see the shares, as if it can not connect to
the server.

I have the Firestarter GUI installed but turned on or off does not make
a difference.

This is what little information I have at the moment of when I am
connected:

Either I am doing something wrong (which I doubt but hey, one can never
know) or pptp support in Ubuntu is broken.
